So, you all probably know that I went to San Fransico recently to spend some time with the amazingly lovely people from Pinterest and you may know that I learned a lot from them on how to use Pinterest to your advantage if you’re a blogger or business owner.
I’ve shared a few posts (here and here) about what I learned when I was there already and there’ll definitely be more to come but today, I wanted to share something with you that I know you want to know about even more than you want to know how to master Pinterest – I’m going to let you have a look at some of my photos from the brunch we had at Pinterest HQ the day after the Pinterest conference!
It’s an amazingly inspirational place and there is something going on everywhere you look!
First up, as you’d expect there are Pinterest logos everywhere! This first picture was made by one of the teams after seeing someone Pin of their own Lego wall. Apparently, after seeing the Pin, they searched online and found someone selling a huge stack of Lego in a nearby suburb so they headed out there to collect the Lego and stayed up all night making this beauty!
There’s also a fair amount of motivational quotes scattered about in one form or another…
And then there are the random ideas that were made after the Pinterest HQ team saw something they wanted to try on Pinterest…
There’s also a huge pinboard which is for the guys who work at Pinterest to share their success when a big change is rolled out. Basically, the team who are responsible for the change get to ‘pin’ their achievement on the wall to the tune of Salt and Peppa’s Push It song. How cool is that?
And I know you’re probably fed up by now but there’s so much more I could tell you about what Pinterest HQ is like…
There’s the AMAZING staff canteen area with just about every food and drink you could ever want, there’s a crafters dream of a workshop and a series of the most brilliant themed meeting rooms among other things that I loved when I was there!
