Last week I had to scan some receipts so I could claim back some expenses so off I headed to the garage (our printer/scanner is in the garage as I like it tidy and out of the way) but it wouldn’t turn on for some reason which wasn’t particularly convenient as I was already late sending the receipts off.
I poked the scanner a bit, turned it on and off and did what anyone with my level of technical knowledge would do – I sighed dramatically and stormed back into the house!
I then had a bit of a whinge on Facebook (as you do) and someone suggested that I just download a scanning app!
Why did I not think of this myself?
So I downloaded Tiny Scanner which I found by searching for ‘free scanner app’ in the app store. There were a few apps that came up but this one was the one with the best positive reviews so I thought it would be the best place to start!
It works really well and the beauty of it is that you have the image stored on your phone then so you can just email it wherever it needs to go!
I’m sure I’m the last person to discover this but I thought I’d share it with you just in case!
