Last week I was talking to Miss Frugal about how she needs to keep working as hard as she is now with her school work and I came out with an amazing motivational quote:
It sounded familiar even as it came out of my mouth but it wasn’t until Miss Frugal said ‘Mam, did you actually just quote SClub7 at me?’ that I realised exactly why it sounded so familiar.
I really did try to teach my child a life lesson using a line from an SClub7 song!*
I then spent the rest of the night trying to recall other lines from SClub7 songs that were motivational (as you do when you have about a million other things to do but really don’t want to do them) and I came up with some great ones that I wanted to share today….
I’m there for you parenting quotes:
We’ve got to all stick together
Good friends, there for each other
Never ever forget that
I’ve got you and you’ve got me
Or,
When the world, leaves you feeling blue
You can count on me, I will be there for you
Dream big parenting quotes:
Reach for the stars
Climb every mountain higher
Or,
No-one knows just what the future holds
There ain’t nothing you can’t be
Or even this little one liner,
There’s a whole world at your feet
Try your hardest parenting quotes:
Don’t stop gotta keep moving
Your hopes have gotta keep building
Or,
Follow that rainbow
And your dreams will all come true
The future’s bright parenting quotes:
There’s a place waiting just for you
Is a special place where your dreams all come true
Or,
Fly away, swim the ocean blue
Drive that open road, leave the past behind you
So the moral of today’s post is that no matter what the parenting situation, there’s an SClub7 quote perfect for it. 😉
* Just to be clear, the SClub7 song most definitely wasn’t in my head because I listened to their greatest hits album** in the car on the way home from work that day!
** Yes, they do have a greatest its album. Not that I have it or anything.
