We all know Christmas can be an expensive time so my competition today could help you out a little because I’m giving you the chance to win two of this year’s most wanted Christmas toys.
The first is the new Monopoly Empire board game which has been a big hit. Monopoly has always been my favourite board game but no-one ever wants to play it with me as ‘it’s boring’ or ‘it takes too long’!
Monopoly Empire is a completely different version of Monopoly and in my opinion, it’s much more family friendly. Gone are the iron, the old boot and the dog as they’re replaced by the more up to date XBox controller, McDonalds fries and coke bottle among other things. The properties we probably all know off by heart (or is that just me?) are replaced with modern day business like EA games, XBox, Coca Cola along with brands like eBay and Intel. You no longer buy hotels but you build skyscrapers and the way that the game’s been designed, it’s much more fast paced and fun. I may even like it more than the original version! You can buy this for £14.99 at Argos at the moment if you want to have a try for yourself.
The second toy you can win is the Teksta Robotic puppy which I’m sure is at the top of lots of children’s Christmas wish lists this year.
The Teksta Robotic Puppy is currently on sale in Argos for £59.99 and if you haven’t seen the adverts, the Teksta puppy is an interactive toy that will respond to your own voice and physical gestures. Apparently he has over 100 different play features and comes with his own ball and bone for you to play with. I’m pretty sure that Master Frugal will love one of these Christmas although I’m not too sure what our dog Buddy would make of it!
Anyway, back to the competition 😉
You can win both of these toys if you leave a comment to let me know what your favourite Christmas present was as a child. There are a couple of other ways to enter too but they’re optional so don’t worry about them if you don’t want to.
Please note that the Terms and Conditions of this competition state that the prizes should be delivered within 28 days of Argos receiving the winners address – this means that the prizes could potentially be delivered after Christmas although every effort will be made to get them to you beforehand.
Disclosure: We received one of each toy in exchange for running this competition.
